Screenings, Community Education and Support Groups.  – The Cancer Center offers free screenings to promote the early detection of cancer, when it is most treatable. Many cancers have a greater than 90% cure rate when detected early. Our screening programs also include an educational component designed to help you reduce the risk of cancer and promote early detection.

Free cancer screenings include:

• PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood test for prostate cancer
• Clinical breast exam and mammogram for breast cancer
• Pelvic exam and Pap test for cervical cancer
• Digital-rectal exam for prostate cancer and stool test for colon and rectal cancer

Community Education – The Cancer Center provides a variety of education programs designed to reduce the impact of cancer in our region. The center is the lead agency for the New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection Program (NJCEED) for Cumberland County .
