SJH Hospital’s Emergency Department has expanded to better meet the needs of the community. In recent years, South Jersey Healthcare’s Elmer Hospital has undergone a remarkable transformation. Since January of 2000, we have opened a new state-of-the-art intensive care unit; a modern surgical services department; a new child/adolescent intensive outpatient mental health unit; a new MaternityCare Center; and most recently explanded our Emergency Department. Our lobby and registration area have also been completely redesigned to ensure your comfort, convenience and privacy.
