We at SJH HospiceCare understand that the symptoms related to a progressive illness are ongoing.  A registered nurse is available at the hospice office (856-794-1515) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  During the evenings, weekends or holidays, please call our answering service at 856-405-2875 and ask to speak to the hospice on-call nurse.  If you do not get a response within 15 minutes, please call again.  The hospice nurse will advise you over the telephone or make a home visit, if necessary.

Please keep in mind that our on-call nurses may be returning your call from their home phone.  For those patients/families who may have caller ID on their phone system, we ask that you respect the privacy of our staff and not obtain their home phone number for your own use by this method.
