One night could clear up a lifetime of sleeping problems.

Do you wake up frequently at night? Or repeatedly wake up tired in the morning, even after a full night’s sleep? Do you have problems falling asleep at night and staying awake during the day? Does your spouse tell you that you snore , gasp , talk, or thrash around in your sleep? A recent Gallup Poll found that 65 million Americans adults, more than one-third of the population, have trouble with their sleep.
To date, more than 100 sleep disorders have been identified, affecting both sexes and all races and age groups. The effects of sleep disorders range from mere annoyances to those that are life threatening. Sleep disorders have been found to play a role in high blood pressure, heart disease, poor work performance and strained family relationships. They cannot only effect your health, but can interfere with a happy and productive life. That’s where SleepCare™ comes in. A nighttime study at one of our convenient locations can tell us what we need to know in order to diagnose and treat your sleeping problem. We help you find relief for the symptoms and disorders that have such a negative impact on your sleeping, as well as your waking, hours.
We combine the latest technology with a home-like atmosphere.
Prior to your visit to SleepCare™ you’ll first meet with your physician who will take a medical history and perform a physical exam. This will help determine whether you could benefit from a nighttime sleep study. You’ll discuss the physical and emotional factors that could be affecting your sleep. You are also welcome to take a tour of SleepCare’s facilities and see the bedroom suites where sleep studies take place. If it is determined that you could benefit from a nighttime study, you’ll find that our bedroom suites are comfortable and private — much more like a guest room than a typical hospital room. You may want to spend some time in our patient lounge, where you’ll find patient education materials, a television and VCR, and videotapes. Or, if you wish, you may bring a book to read in the lounge or in your room. All centers offer bathroom and shower facilities and most offer a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave oven. All of these amenities are part of our overall patient-oriented environment, designed to reduce the stress so often associated with medical tests. The sleep technician will be located in a separate room, and will record your sleep through monitors placed on your skin. Also, a small video camera will tape your sleep study. What can a night of testing tell us? It provides us with a comprehensive record of your sleep patterns, leg movements, blood oxygen levels, heart rhythm, breathing and snoring. Your test results are promptly evaluated by the SleepCare™ physician, who will forward them to your personal physician, along with a diagnosis and recommendations for treatment.
Turn to the experts in sleep disorders.
SleepCare™ is dedicated solely to the study and cure of sleep disorders. We stress your needs and concerns— which means prompt scheduling of appointments, a comfortable atmosphere during your testing, and prompt evaluation and delivery of your results.
