Radiation Oncology –Our team of board-certified physicians, registered radiation therapists and nationally-certified oncology nurses have provided state-of-the-art radiation therapy to thousands of patients for more than 25 years. Our full-time, on-site medical physicist is board-certified and supervises treatment safety and accuracy by performing continuous quality assurance and daily equipment tests.
Our Radiation Oncology program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the American College of Radiology.

Medical Oncology (Chemotherapy) – The Medical Oncology/Outpatient Department staff deliver quality care under the direction of board certified medical oncologists and palliative care specialists to patients in a caring and friendly atmosphere . Our expert oncology nurses understand both the physical and emotional aspects of cancer treatment, providing ongoing patient education and addressing patient questions or concerns.

Cancer Support Groups – Talking or simply being with others who have shared similar experiences can provide comfort, hope and practical information for cancer patients. The Cancer Center facilitates a number of support groups and services. Programs such as the Breast Cancer Bridge Program, a patient navigator program for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients, help patients handle the physical, emotional and practical issues related to cancer care.
The center’s innovative approach to smoking cessation includes a certified tobacco treatment specialist who provides tools and information to physicians and nurses, which help their patients cope with nicotine withdrawal in the hospital. Free community smoking cessation programs are also offered.
