Adult Partial Care Program
Adult Partial Care provides an intensive level of outpatient behavioral health treatment to individuals experiencing a period of significant emotional stress. People come to Partial when their symptoms are seriously impacting their functioning and they are either just being discharged from inpatient treatment or are hoping to enter intensive treatment to avoid needing hospitalization.

  • Creative arts therapy
  • Family counseling
  • Addictions counseling
  • Training in coping, relationship, communication and emotional
    management skills
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

People ages 18 and older attend weekdays from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM for approximately two to three weeks and receive help with a variety of problems, which typically include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Grief and loss
  • Anger management
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Relationship problems
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Difficulty coping
  • Low self esteem
  • Medication adjustment
  • Addiction issues (when in conjunction with primary mental health issues)
  • Codependency .

Referals
Individuals can refer themselves for Partial services. They can also be referred by a doctor’s office, a therapist, agency, hospital or other interested party. Simply contact Partial at (856) 575-4190 to provide information to initiate a referral.

Staffing
The program is staffed by Masters level and licensed mental health professionals under the supervision of a psychiatrist:

  • Psychiatrist/Medical Director - Dr. Peter Brancato, M.D.
  • Program Manager - Marty Viel, L.S.W.
  • Nurse - Christine Darpino, R.N.
  • Social Worker - Allen Fleischmann, L.S.W.
  • Addictions Counselor - Tim Dixon, C.A.D.C., M.H.S.

Support staff includes:

  • Secretary - Joan Chestnut
  • Mental Health Technician - Christy Davis
  • Van Driver - Charles Ingles

Confidentiality
Adult Partial is a voluntary program and all services and inquiries are confidential.

Transportation
Clients enrolled in Partial who reside in Cumberland County are eligible for free program transportation.

Fees
Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurances are accepted. Individuals with no insurance may be eligible for South Jersey Healthcare’s Charity Care program.

Adult Partial is located in the outpatient section of the second floor at South Jersey Healthcare at 333 Irving Avenue, Bridgeton, New Jersey, 08302-2100.
