Making a Dfference in Young Lives
A collaboration between South Jersey Healthcare and two local school districts,
Innovative Model for Preschool and Community Teaming (IMPACT), provides
an array of programs designed to improve the health and well-being of young
people and their families.
Help in Vineland…
IMPACT’s main campus is home to a nationally accredited childcare center, which also hosts a special
weekly playgroup for children receiving services from SJH’s Early Intervention Program.
The Child Development Center and Early Intervention Office offers evaluations by a neurodevelopmentalist and pediatric neurologist. The highly trained staff provides therapy for early intervention of developmental delays
.…And Throughout the Area
IMPACT’s reach extends beyond Vineland, too. The IMPACT Health Center offers CPR and first aid classes to the community and nursing services for children enrolled in the IMPACT childcare program. The Family Outreach Program provides support to social workers who service Abbott preschool providers in Bridgeton, Millville and Vineland. In collaboration with Vineland Public Schools, SJH provides various services for students. These programs include:

Parent Linking Program for teens who are pregnant or parents;

childcare for teen parents attending high school; and

youth-based health services, counseling and life-skills training
